Cedar Crest College newspaper since 1923
The second annual Trunk or Treat took place at Cedar Crest College on Oct.25th 2015.
This event took place on Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm.
Many children dressed in costumes lead their parents passed decorated cars and tables. The Cedar Crest community clubs and organizations and some local businesses decorated vehicles and tables to hand out candy to those in attendence.
Sherri Graham was one of the parents walking around with their her children.
“This is my first year here. I love how everyone is so friendly.” Graham said.
She also enjoys how safe the enviroment is.
Jen Carpenter also enjoys the community enivorment.
“It is such a great thing that we are allowed to experience the local community and see the college community come out and do this for everyone,” said Carpenter.
Graham’s sons Jarrett and Jaylon loved that there was so much to do.
There was coloring, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a moonbounce and a costume contest all for the children to enjoy.
Many people also brought their pets and there was a costume for them as well.
Carpenter brought her daughter, Kaylee. Kaylee thought the whole experience was wonderful and loved being around so many other people.
